Nominees for This Year's Delo Business Stars

The media house Delo will, for the eighth consecutive year, award prestigious statuettes at a gala event on November 7 at Brdo pri Kranju as part of the Delo Business Stars project, this time titled With Technology and Company Reputation More Competitive in the Labor Market.

The economy is growing, and so are companies in terms of revenue and number of employees, so from now on, we are paying attention not only to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) but also to large ones.

At the event, we will present five nominees in the SME category and three in the large enterprises category, selected based on data from the project's expert partner, the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (Ajpes).

The winners in each category will be chosen by an expert committee chaired by Stojan Petrič, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Kolektor Group and Director of the media house Delo, and includes full professor at the Ljubljana Faculty of Economics Dr. Dušan Mramor, State Secretary for Internationalization, Entrepreneurship, Development Funds, and Tourism at the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sports Matevž Frangež, representative of the general sponsor Generali Investments Marija Pregelj, last year's Delo Business Star, Director of RLS from Komenda Janez Novak, and representatives of the editorial board.

Today, voting begins for Delo readers and visitors to the delo.si website. The winners among the companies chosen by the readers in each category will receive a smaller statuette.
